having a tendency to blast down dirt roads with the windows down doesn't help. Quite happy with the meguiars protectant. I was a bit slimy at first but I'm thinking that's from it being on my hands.

I love this style of shift knob.
p.s. imprezas are MEANT to be dirty, but a good owner gets it clean in between dirty sessions

mine had been dirty for so long this was stepping in to a new car. So much nicer to sit in now. Shift knob is the sti one but that damned letters haven't been lining up straight and tight lately but I'm not one to nitpick on stuff like that

similar problem with my s2000 shift knob, fixed by adding a locking nut (nothing special just thinnest nut with the right thread from home depot) so I could lock it in position straight rather than hoping for a magic allignment of thread counts when it is mounted in a car it wasnt designed for
